I want to make cookies with hersheys kisses in the middle..can I just use suger cookie dough?

I just bought pillsburry sugar cookie dough & a bag of hersheys kisses....can't i just bake them then when i take them out the over immediatly put a hershey kiss on them??? Has anyone done this?
