Ideas for an upcoming baby shower?

my cousin is having her first child, and her baby shower is next week, i have no idea what to get her, i dont want to get her baby clothes because babies grow way too fast and i want the item to last a little while, i was thinking about crocheting a blanket but that'll take too long to make it to the shower, any ideas? i dont really want to go with the toy idea, but that may be the way to go i guess, thanks
