What kind of beef should I use to make stew?

Usually when I make beef stew, I go to this one meat store and they already have it sliced up into cube forms. It's really good. If you want a good opinion i would go to your local butcher shop and see what they think. I think beef is beef usually it all tastes the same to me(:
